Second, the burial depth should be enough. Generally, the burial depth of the pipe in the family courtyard or indoor is recommended to be 30cm; if it is under the roadway, it must be added to more than 50cm to avoid heavy objects crushing and breaking the pipe. The bottom of the ditch should be covered with 10-15cm of fine sand or soft soil, and sharp stones and bricks should be picked away to prevent puncturing the pipe body.

Third, the joint should be "welded firmly". The joints of PE pipes have to be connected by hot melt or electric fusion (don't stick with glue!). Hot melt is to heat and melt the two ends of the pipe and then connect it. Electric fusion is to use special pipe fittings for electric welding. The strength of such joints is higher than that of the pipe body and will not leak.

Fourth, backfill should be "gentle". Do not pour large stones or hard soil directly when backfilling. First fill it with fine sand or soil to 15cm above the top of the pipe, and then lay it down (about 20cm per layer) to prevent the pipe from being crushed and deformed.

Finally, be sure to do a water pressure test before burying: fill the pipe with water, press it to 0.8MPa (about 8 kg pressure), and keep it for 30 minutes without pressure loss, indicating that the pipe and joint are OK, and then bury it.
